A group of our staff from PT Citec Engineering Indonesia has completed a comprehensive overseas staff training program held from July 27 to July 31, hosted by our parent company, Tianjin Cement Industry Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. (Sinoma TCDRI), in China. The training was also attend by representatives Sinoma TCDRI’s subsidiaries from Malaysia, Brazil, Mexico, Dubai, and Pakistan.
The program was officially opened with a warm welcome from Mr. Sun Jian, Deputy General Manager of the Equipment Group at Sinoma TCDRI. During the opening, Mr. Sun highlighted that the training was designed to strengthen participants understanding of core equipment, low carbon technologies, and digital technologies. He also emphasized the importance of sharing knowledge and experiences among participants from the different countries, allowing all participants to gain broader industry perspective and learn from different experiences.
Throughout the program, participants attended technical training sessions, business-related discussions, and site visits led by experienced Sinoma TCDRI experts. The sessions covered various aspects of equipment, digital technologies, mining, environmental protection, and engineering solutions, while the visits introduced participants to Sinoma TCDRI’s research, manufacturing, and operational facilities.

The training sessions provided participants with an understanding of the functions, applications, and operating principles of various types of equipment. This knowledge was further strengthened during the factory visits, where participants had the opportunity to observe the equipment firsthand and see how its different components are manufactured and assembled. By examining each part directly and learning about its specific function, participants gained a clearer understanding of how individual components work together as part of a complete equipment system.
The visits to Sinoma TCDRI’s research, manufacturing, and operational facilities also provided valuable exposure to research and development activities, production capabilities, and the implementation of advanced technologies in real-world industrial environments. This practical experience allowed participants to gain a closer look at how equipment and technologies are developed, manufactured, and applied in actual industrial operations.
Through this comprehensive learning experience, Citec continues to strengthen its engineering expertise and expand its technical capabilities by leveraging Sinoma TCDRI’s global knowledge, research facilities, and technological ecosystem. The insights gained from the program will further support Citec in delivering reliable, innovative, and integrated EPC solutions for customers across the cement, mining, and industrial sectors, while reinforcing its commitment to engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
